Lauren Stone grew up in Mexico, Mo. She has shown Western pleasure, ranch, reining, as well as working with various breeds.
Lauren graduated from William Woods University with a bachelor’s degree in Equine Science. While attending William Woods University Lauren interned at Jim Dudley Quarter Horses and Zimmerman Performance Horses with Terry Wegener.
She has accompanied various trainers as a groom including Alan Clanton and Jim Lowry at the 2021 Worlds Championship. She continued her training with Ann McGruder and a private breeder starting colts. A year later Lauren decided to open her facility, which is known as Rambling Hill.
Our Services
Training
We offer training for Western pleasure, ranch, and reining horses.
We also offer training for horses that have yet to be started.
Limited spaces are available please contact us for further questions.
Boarding
Rambling Hill is stationed in Mexico, Mo. We feed grass hay round bales in the pastures and an 11% sweet feed.
We will also cater to your horse’s individual diet. Horses are stalled on mats along with receiving daily turnout in the pastures.
Trails are available to those who want to enjoy a beautiful day out on the trails.
Lessons
Lessons are 1 hour long; this includes time to learn how to groom and tack up your horse.
Cancellation Policy- lessons not canceled at least 24 hours in advance will be charged for the full lesson price. We understand weather affects traveling this will be accounted for in cancellation.
Camps
We will offer week-long spring and summer camps in the future. Please keep an eye out for those dates on our event calendar.
